Code of Fundraising Practice
The Code of Fundraising Practice sets the standards that apply to fundraising conducted by all charitable institutions and third-party fundraisers in the UK.
Introduced in October 2019, the current code will remain in effect until 1 November 2025, when it will be replaced by an updated version.

New Code (effective 1 November 2025)
The new code and support guides are now available, offering a clearer, more adaptable approach to fundraising regulation.
These changes will take effect on 1 November 2025.
Code Advice Service
The Code Advice Service allows you to contact the Fundraising Regulator with specific questions about the Code of Fundraising Practice and how it applies to your fundraising activity.
The service is open to anyone, including members of the public, volunteers and professional fundraisers.
